Adaptation

Interesting news in the paper today. It reports a pair of magpies in Hong Kong built a nest with metal sticks from the nearby construction site. Such a powerful example of adaptation.

I have to admit that I am not as adaptable as the birds. Indian curry, Thai's Tom Yum soup and Chong Qing famous spicy steamboat could send me camping in the toilet for 3 days. Maybe I should learn from the birds. Got to learn to adapt if I want to live till 200 years old.

Life should be full of enriching experiences. But I simply don't see how camping in the toilet for 3 days could be part of en"rich"ing experiences.
