There are basically two ways to make money online by writing articles. One is selling full rights and make an one-off big money. The other is retaining the rights and make money from passive income.
One way is to write and sell full rights to the article. Constant Content (http://www.constant-content.com/) and Dailyarticle (http://www.dailyarticle.com/) are 2 reputatable sites to sell article.
Selling off full rights to the article means you are giving up your authorship to the article. Once the article is sold, you can no longer claim that you are original writer to it. The buyer has to right to amend and put his/her name to the article.
Writers are able to set the prices for selling articles at both the writing sites. Some writers are able to make as much as US$6,000 a month.
Imagine writing 3 articles a day (all are 600 words article) and selling at US$100 per article. Assuming you write everyday, so you are selling 90 articles at $100 an article. So every month you are putting up US$9,000 worth of articles to sell. The commission at Constant Content is 33% and Dailyarticle is 20%.
Assuming that all the articles are sold, you are making in excess of US$6,000 per month. However, making money from selling full rights is a one-off transaction. Once all your articles are sold and you stop writing, you will not make any more money.

I wish i could say your figures are realistic but for most writers, particularly if starting out - $9000 a month is not reachable using the sites you mentioned.
ReplyDeleteApart from the competition, writers would need to upload 100s of articles with relevant content that is useful. This works best in affiliate marketing - that also takes time.
Selling PLR batches can really work if you can write well and quickly. And if you can charge from $50 an article.
