Does the US Economic Stimulus Package help the unemployed?

While I am not staying in the US, I must say that almost everyone in developed countries are affected by the recession started in US. After all, the financial crisis hit so many people in the world. There are more unemployed people in the world now.

The US government keeps on saying the worst is over, and that the Economic Stimulus package helps, but the thing is: Does it really help the unemployed?

Many people are unemployed for close to a year, and they do not seem themselves gainfully employed in the near future.

The end of the year is always a gloomy period for unemployed who are running out of savings. No job, no money, no meaning in life is a fact for the unemployed. No matter how many motivational books the unemployed read, it does not help the money to flow in.

Everyone can see that the US Economic Stimulus Package keeps the banks afloat, and everyone can see that the bankers are getting big bonus despite the fact that they are the ones causing the economy to crash.

People cannot see how the Economic Stimulus Package helps the unemployed, since more and more people are unemployed. The existing unemployed are not getting job offers. Many unemployed rather have the money from the government goes directly into their pockets.

No matter what the government says, the unemployed do not feel better, because they are still unemployed.

The only way to get out of the current recession is to let the unemployed gain employment. And the government has to take the first step. The best that the government can do is to employ the unemployed.

It does not matter that the civil service is overstaffed. It does not matter that there is no work available in the civil service for the mass of unemployed. The only thing that matters is that the number of unemployed reduces drastically enough for the population to feel confidence.

The US government has to create many positions for the unemployed. Even if most of the positions are not really needed. The purpose is to get money into the hands of the public, and especially into the hands of the unemployed.

It’s amazing how important money is, especially for the current unemployed. Money can keep the family intact. Money can help the unemployed feel useful again. Money can help the unemployed gain confidence.

By providing employment, the government is giving money directly into the hands of the ones who need it most, namely the unemployed. Those rich bankers do not need the money. They want the money. Giving them money does not help the economy at all. Giving them money only helps to make them more greedy, and more than willing to rip money off the innocents again.

Giving the money into the hands of the unemployed by giving them jobs is the only way to pull the country out of recession.

The recent rally in the stock market is not an accurate reflection of the economic situation. The stock market is the reflection of how people feel about the economic situation. As long as the investors can see and feel the desperation of the many unemployed people, the stock market is not hold up.
