The Property Market is Always Good

The property market (housing market) is always good. In the property boom before the bubble burst, the seller is able to sell at record high price and make a lot of money. He feels that the market is good.

In the resulting gloom, the buyer has so many choices at bargain prices. He feels that the market is good. In fact, for the newly wed and the first time homebuyer, the property gloom comes at just the right time. Without the gloom, they will find owning a house an impossible dream.

People make money or lose money in property due to their own intelligence, luck or stupidity. The cyclical housing market rewards the smart investors with a lot of money. So many millionaires and billionaires make their money through the cyclical housing market. You may be the next real estate millionaire or billionaire. You will agree that the property market is always good.

Read more about the housing market in my article at Associated Content.

What I will do When I Win the Multi-Million Dollars Lottery

Read the title carefully.

My title is "What I will do when I win the multi-million dollars lottery." It is not "What I will do if I win the multi-million dollars lottery."

There is only one difference in the 2 sentences. The difference between "when" and "if".

Yes, I know what you are saying, you are saying I'm such an arrogant gal.

I know that one day I will win the multi-million dollars lottery, the question is only "when", not "if". Every single dollar I use to buy the ticket is my chance to win the lottery. Buying lottery ticket is such an easy way to make money (when I win).

I will continue buying till I live to the ripe old age of 200 years old. Sooner or later I will win the multi-millions bucks. The only unknown factor is When?

So what will I do when I win the multi-million dollars lottery?

What I Will Do when I Win the Multi-Million Dollars Lottery
First of all, I know that winning millions of dollars in the state lottery is not the same as receiving millions of dollars.

Dear readers, what about you? What will you do with the money when you win the multi-million dollars lottery?

Rich in Words

A writer must be rich in imaginations and rich in words.

When the writer is able to transfer feelings and thoughts into words, he or she is rich in words. The words are meaningful and powerful only if the readers appreciate them and learn from them.

On Wednesday, I took a slow leisurely walk home. It was a nice walk after a long day at work.

Many people were walking home from the bus stop or train station. Their walking style reflect their personalities and their self-esteem.

A lady in front of me was walking with her head low and dragging her feet. She was in formal office attire and holding an expensive handbag. Yet she couldn't carry herself well.

I was so angry at the way she walked. In my heart, I was telling her to stand up straight, walk upright.

After all, once a person is out in the street, she is selling herself to the whole world.

Rich in Imaginations

I suffer from runaway imagination again! So nice to stare at the wall and see the future.

In my imagination, I see gorgeous ladies wearing solar panel dresses and carry solar panel handbags, handsome gentlemen wearing solar panel suits and carry solar panel laptop cases.

I see people sleeping on the beach with solar panel clothing on, and generating electricity just by doing nothing. So nice! I wish I can live in the future, and able to earn money just by doing nothing.

Rich in imaginations result in a creative article. Please read it in Associated Content

Solar Panel Dress
A day will come when the solar panel is so thin and so flexible that we can wear it.

Why Do I Want To Be Rich? (2)

There are many reasons people give for wanting to be rich.

Some of the reasons here may be the ones you are giving for wanting to get rich:
a. To make enough money to live on
b. To send the children to the best schools
c. To buy the nice house and the nice car
d. To enjoy luxuries
e. To have more money than the Joneses

Guess what, whatever your reasons for getting rich, you are likely to be rich enough to attain your goal.

If you want to be rich, so that you have enough to live on. You will just make enough money to survive day to day.

If you want to be rich, so that you can send your children to the best schools. You will make enough money to send your children to the best schools. But you are not make so much money to rank among the famous billionaires.

If you want to be richer than the Joneses, you will make enough to buy assets (big house, big car) but not much cash left.

All the reasons above are not going to make you into billionaire.

So folks, please re-examine the question "Why do I want to be Rich?" See if the reason for being rich is strong enough to make you into a millionaire or billionaire.

Why Do I Want To Be Rich?

Many people throughout the world ask the famous question "How to Get Rich?" and "How to make a lot of money?"

But they fail to ask the first question "Why do I want to be Rich?"

"Why" question must always come before "How" question. For thousand and thousand of years, Man looks at the birds flying and ask himself "Why can't I fly?" After the "Why" question was answered by studying the mechanism of birds that enable them to fly, the "How do I fly?" comes in, and results in the invention of aeroplane.

So folks, before you find out "How to Get Rich?", first ask yourself "Why do I want to be Rich?"

Search your heart, search your soul and search your mind for the answer. If you do not know why you want to be rich, then you can't get rich. Making a lot of money and getting rich is a long and lonely process, without a strong motivator, you will not be able to continue on this difficult path.

Money is Power

Money is power. A lot of money is a lot of power. A person who is able to make a lot of money is a powerful person. A company that is able to make a lot of money becomes a powerful company. A country that is able to make a lot of money becomes a world power.

A company that is cash rich, especially in the current recession, is powerful. It is able to continue its operations and continue to pay salary. It is not afraid of the bank seizing its property. It is not afraid of falling sales.

Money is power. A company that is cash rich is powerful.

A person who is rich is powerful, especially in the current recession. He or she is able to buy all the distressed assets at fire-sale price. He or she is not afraid of foreclosure. He or she is able to live in comfort and enjoy all kind of luxuries that money can buy.

Money is power. A holder of money can feel the power that money alone can give.

Money Money Money

How do you view Money?
As your friend?
As your master?
As your slave?
As your lover?
As your weapon?
As a useful tool?
As your enemy?

Do you view the rich as the "filthy rich"? What do you mean by "filthy"? Filthy as in personalities? Or the money they own are filthy?

If money is filthy and is your enemy, then you are never ever going to be rich.

If money is your lover, then you will find that it is a jealous lover. Money is possessive of you, and will never allow anyone or anything to take over its dominance over you.

Money is money, express in currency, exchanges for goods and services. Money is never and should never be your master or slave. Money exists before you enter the world. Money will continue to exist after you leave the world.

So folks, respect money, make money honestly, and use it wisely, but never hate it nor fall in love with it.

Thoughts on Retirement Planning

How much money do we need for retirement?

Most of us do not know, so being internet savvy, we surf the internet for online financial calculator. Key in some figures and the marvellous calculator will give a very nice figure, such as $500,000 for retirement. It also shows at the rate of return of 5%, 6%, 10% or whatever other percentage, we need to save a few hundreds monthly.

So many of us don't trust the online calculator, so we seek the assistance of a professional financial planner. After answering some questions about the money we make every month, our expenses, indulgences and whatever desires we have (which involves money), the clever professional financial planner comes out with an even bigger figure than $500,000.

All these calculations are very impressive, and we tend to treat the figure as the holy truth. So we work hard to reach the magic sum required for retirement.

But stop a minute and think.

Do we know when we are leaving this earth permanently? Do we know what kind of health problems we will develop when we are old? And what will be medical costs by the time we retire?

If we do not know, how can the professional financial planner know? Do we really think the clever calculator can calculate our lifespan accurately?

Without knowing when we are leaving this earth, without knowing the health conditions we will face in the future, without knowing how much the medical costs will be, all the numbers are just an estimate. An estimate that will never be correct.

The professional financial planner estimates that we will live up till 80 years old. He or she is just taking the average lifespan. We may live till 120 years old, by then it's too late to scold the stupid financial planner.

So in the matter of financial planner, it is better to prepare for the worst, and hope for the best. Better prepare for living beyond 100 years old and triple the medical costs estimate.

Hopefully my money will last a day longer than I do!

Riches that Money can Buy

Life is a gamble. We hope to win every single time.

When the employer makes a job offer to the job applicant, that is a gamble. The employer hopes to win a rare talent that can make the company tons of money.

When a guy proposes to a gal, that is a gamble. A very big gamble. Some guys lost their lives when their wives poisoned them.

When we go to the casino to play poker, blackjack or other games, that is a gamble. Compare to the gamble of marriage, the risk we face in the casino is just losing a bit of money. We won't lose our lives in the casino.

We all desire to win in a casino. Nobody goes into the casino and think "today I'm going to lose thousands of dollars". Everyone thinks "today I want to win the jackpot".

Everyone who walks into the casino feels the thrill of winning, even before placing a bet. On the way to the casino, our minds already filled with all the material goods that money can buy.

We have a mental image of us standing in front of a big nice bangalow with a swimming pool and a huge garden. We have a mental image of reading the bank statement showing a lot of money. We have a mental image of us touring around the world and enjoying all the luxuries that money can buy.

This is a hope of all who walk into the casino to gamble, including me. One day, I'm going to make a lot of money from the casino and buy all the luxuries with the money. My family will enjoy all the good things that money can buy. I want to share the riches with all of them.

Sing his Way to Work

Today is Friday, the last working day of the week. I always love Friday, knowing that weekend is near.

After suffering the usual morning rush to work, I finally reach my destination. I alight from the train and take a 10 minutes walk to work.

A few of us are walking on the same street, suddenly an Indian man in front of me starts to sing. He sings a very light and cheerful tune. The birds sing along with him. The grass suddenly looks greener and the sky brighter.

I am shock! Never in my working life have I seen anyone singing his way to work. I can imagine the joy of ending a work day and desire to sing on the way home. But sing on the way to work?

Why is he so happy to go to work? He is a blue-collar worker, wearing his overall. He is just an employee, so am I. But he is singing and I am dragging my legs to work. Is work so enjoyable that he breaks out in joyous song?

Come to think of it, he is a healthy living being, so am I. To wake up every morning is a miracle. To possess a healthy body and able to work to make a living is a gift.

The Indian man has a lot to be joyful for. So am I.

We may not be rich materially yet, but we are rich in every sense.

So I should sing my way to work next Monday morning. Let me see, will "Old McDonald had a Farm" be appropriate?

Reflection: The Richest Man in Babylon

The Richest Man in Babylon was written by George Samuel Clason about 80 years ago.

At first glance, the book appeared to be just a story about how a slave became the richest man in Babylon.

When the story was first published, it was in the form of pamphlets distributed to provide financial advice. So please don't read this book as a storybook, treat it as your get-rich textbook, read it again and again as a your financial guide in life. Put the lessons into practice, and you may be the next millionaire.

There are a few lessons I learnt from reading the book:

a. Pay yourself first (the only way to be rich is to spend lesser than you earn)

b. Money makes more money (like the concept of the "children" of money, if we eat the children of money as in we used up all the interest or dividends, there will not be any more grandchildren)

c. Trust the right person (some people never learnt this, they seek financial advice from their colleagues and friends who are as poor as they are)

Today many of us feel like a slave to our jobs (many salaried employees are worked like a slave). The Richest Man in Babylon tells us that we can be the richest person if we calculate the right habits, invest wisely, own the house we live in and spend wisely.

The free ebook can be downloaded at http://www.passive-income.co.za/download/TheRichestManinBabylon.pdf

Happy reading. Enjoy the process of getting rich and be the richest person in town.

My Articles, My "Babies"

Since started writing slightly more than a month ago, I have many happy "babies" living in different writing sites. Now I am a happy "mummy" - rich in words, rich in articles.

Some of my "babies" have grown! They have done so well as to make their "mummy" (Me!) some pocket money.

The babies in Helium (www.helium.com/users/494805) will make over US$25 this month. The babies in Associated Content will make lesser money, just enough for their "mummy" to eat ice-cream http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/437759/siew_cheng_hoe.html

I wish my "babies" healthy and wealthy, and continue to be popular. When I grow old, my "babies" will continue to make money for me! My "babies" will make me rich in every sense.

Desire To Be Rich

Most of us have the desire to be rich and wealthy. For most of us, the desire remains a desire, we do no more than go to work to make money, clock in our 8 to 10 hours, and then go home. Day in day out, we wait for pay day. Then we spend the money and try to save a bit for rainy days.

That is about it. Our desires to be rich are not strong enough to take further action. Of course we have dream of "one day when I am a millionaire or billionaire", that dream is just a castle in the air, full of air and nothing concrete.

Unless we are very lucky to win a big jackpot or have relations who are rich, we know we are not going to be rich.

For a few of us, the desire to be rich is a bit stronger, it moves us to seek financial education and find more ways to make money. The desire and the actions taken can make us a bit richer than we are now. We will be able to move into a nicer neighbourhood, live in a nicer house and have a bigger retirement nest.

There are a small group of people whose desire to be rich is an obsession. They are fully committed emotionally, mentally and physically. The whole-hearted commitment causes the small fire of desire to develop in intensity enough to burn the whole forest.

They work hard. They work smart. They love their work whole-heartedly. They work as if they are possessed. They work as if their whole mission in life is to be rich.

They do become rich. They do make a lot of money. Of course, they dont die harbouring the same desire to be rich. Once they attain the goal of riches, their life focus changed. Other desires take the top position in their hearts.

Desire to be rich is not enough to make us rich. Desire to be rich requires a price that not many people are willing to pay. Happy is the person who pays the price and enjoy the fruitage of riches!

Pay Day

Pay Day! That is the day that most of us working folks loved very much.

Most of us on monthly salary have 12 pay days in a year. How special pay day is! Out of the 20 to 22 working days in a month, pay day is the time when we feel like life is worth living for.

Imagine 20 days of hard labour, facing our boss, facing the work that we both love and hate, looking at the time and wishing time can go a bit faster, sometimes we do ask the "what if" question.

What if one day we do not need to work? What if one day we cannot work? What if one day we are so rich that we hire people to work for us instead?

The reality is that "what if" questions remain as "what if" questions. Most of us have no means to transform the "what if" question into reality.

So we work, we work hard, and we wait for pay day. How nice to have the money flows in! How nice to see the money in our bank before it flows out to pay the bills.

Pay day is also a time for us to remind ourselves that we are rich. Yes, even as employee, we are rich. We are richer than people who want to work, but unable to work. At least we have pay day to look forward to. Many folks in the world do not!

So folks, cheer up, work hard tomorrow, work hard the day after and every single working day. Pay day is near!

Spending Money is more Satisfying than Earning them

GOD'S WORD® Translation (©1995) translated Acts 20:35 as "I have given you an example that by working hard like this we should help the weak. We should remember the words that the Lord Jesus said, 'Giving gifts is more satisfying than receiving them.'"

On the same note, I say that spending money is more satisfying than earning them.

Making money through holding full time job is such a hard chore, especially for us rats in the rat race. No matter how enjoyable the work is, no matter how high our earnings are, waking up early in the morning and rushing to work is such a chore.

Day in day out, we clock in our hours and look forward to Pay Day.

On the other hand, spending money is such a satisfying task. How nice to pull out a wad of cash or flash a credit card to pay for food we like, bag we like and anything else we like.

How nice if money keeps on flowing in like a river. How nice if we can keep on spending money without having to work for them.

Rich In Choices

I live in a city full of choices. There are large shopping centres everywhere. There are many shops in the residential areas. A 10 minutes walk in any direction is likely to bring the walkers to a marketplace or shopping areas.

Today I take a train to town and spend a few hours in town doing the usual activities of a happy consumer.

"What do you want to eat?" is a very difficult question to answer. There are simply too many choices available. The cheaper food is available at the food courts. Every food court has a choice of 10 to 20 stalls. Every stall has 5 to 20 varieties of cooked food. The seafood stall offers restaurant style, with a menu of 60 to 100 choices.

There are a lot of restaurants and cafes in town. Indian food, chinese food, western food, vegetarian food, fast food, korean food, japanese food and whatever else.

Rich in choices is really a problem, a happy problem. Happy in the sense that me, as a consumer, has power to choose. Many restaurants, cafes and food courts are clamouring for my attention.

Rich in choices is a problem in that I have only one stomach with limited capacity. I can't afford to pack in all the nice food and burst my stomach.

Rich in choices is a happy problem for me. I like to be rich in choices.

Rich In Publications

Many of us have a secret dream of seeing our books in the bookshelf. Imagine going to the bookshop and our publication is displayed prominently. Further imagine that someone picks up the book, glance at the cover, read the back cover, then brings the book to the counter and pays for it.

Nearly everyone who knows how to read and write harbours a dream like this in different stages of life.

For most of us mortals, writing an adult fiction is harder than reaching for the stars. Publishing children's books seem a simpler task. This is what I thought, until I read Jill McDougall's ebook on "Becoming a Children's Writer."

Jill had published more than 100 books in 6 years. Her books will continue to make money for her as long as she lives.

Sounds like an easy task. I used to think that if she can do it, so can I.

But halfway through reading "Becoming a Children's Writer", I realise that while writing is easy, really easy, the marketing part is a killer. For a new writer, the time spends on marketing can be 10 times that of writing.

My friends always advised me "it's not what you know, but who you know" can be rephased as "it's not what you know, but how you sell" that gets you published. That's why Jill features more resources on getting published than writing.

I guess for now, the dream of rich in publications, especially rich in children's books is out of my reach. I simply cannot summon up the energy to sell. Making money through publications is not for me yet.

For those brave folks who want to try and be successful, you may click here http://www.jillmcdougall.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=30&Itemid=62&hop=scheng1

Good luck! Let me know when you are rich in publications.

Rich In Blessings

Today is Friday the 13th, the last working day of the week. Today is also a God-blessed day.

The weather is perfect. The sky is blue with white clouds of every shape and size. The wind is cool. The sun is gentle on the all of us.

Such a lovely day! A day rich in blessings. After saying goodbye and wishing all my colleagues a nice weekend, I step out of office and walk home.

Yes! I walk! I walk all the home. I walk at a leisurely pace, taking in the sights and sounds of nature. The streets are filled with happy and calm faces of the working adults on the way home. They, like me, have enjoyed a week of fruitful work and looking forward to a restful weekend.

I walk along the lake. There are children playing. The air is rich with their laughter and shilly voices. There are uncles and aunts sitting on the bench, enjoying the calming effect of the lake. There are joggers enjoying the fresh air and effect of exercise. There are birds flying around and fighting for food.

As I walk, I ponder the richness of life. I am blessed with a healthy body, able to walk and take in the richness of life.

Today is a day rich in blessings! A time will come when I am no longer able to walk for 1 1/2 hours home. A day will come when I am no longer able to see as well as today. But the memory of such a God-blessed day will stay with me forever and ever.

Rich in Fairy Tales

I love fairy tales. I love to read stories with "happy forever" ending. Fairy tales give us hope, hope for a happy forever future.

I admire writers who are rich in fairy tales. One of these writers is Hans Christian Andersen. Many of us know him as the author of The Little Mermaid, The Ugly Duckling and The Little Match Girl. Not many of us have a chance to read all of his fairy tales.

I didn't realize that he was so rich in fairy tales till I browse through
http://hca.gilead.org.il/
It lists 168 stories by Hans Christian Andersen.

I have made an effort to read most of the stories, and I love "What the Moon Saw".
This tale is one of the longest since the moon is relating what it saw night after night.

How I wish I have the imagination of Hans Christian Andersen. How I wish my stories will live on and touch the hearts of millions of readers.

His fairy tales make him a lot of money and make him famous. If he lives in our times, he will make even more money selling the rights for his stories to make into movies.

Money, Love and Happiness

"Can money buy happiness and love?" This title appears in Helium and it appeals to me as it has appealed to the heart of 137 writers.

Money, love and happiness define what we live for and in extreme case, what we die for. From the past till the present, people longed for love, happiness and money. They yearned for it, lived for it, fought over it and some died for it.

I have added submitted an article on the topic to Helium, Associated Content and Hubpages. Money, love and happiness will appeal to all of us.

Some of us do believe that money can buy love and happiness, not in absolute sense, but certainly in a degree. Money is used to show our love to our loved ones. Money is used to buy things to make our heart rejoice. So in a sense, money does buy love and happiness.

On the other hand, we love and are loved by our family and friends, not because we pay them. They love us because of who we are, and what we mean to them. With love, comes happiness. If we love deep enough and are loved in return, we are happy regardless of where we are, how rich or poor we are.

We do live for money, love and happiness. Take any of it away, how long can we live?

Meaning of Rich

Rich is such a powerful word, it rouses strong feelings in so many of us.

But what is the meaning of the word "Rich"?

The Merriam-Webster provides 8 definitions of "rich". Rich can mean anything from "highly seasoned, fatty, oily or sweet as in rich food" to "having abundant possessions and especially material wealth".

Rich to each of us, as individual, we too define it in many ways. However we define rich, most of us think positively and longingly of it.

To be rich in material wealth is a blessing. To be rich emotionally and spiritually is even more desirable.

How nice to be rich! How nice to be rich in every sense!

No Money, Retrench Your Wife

Our local newspaper, The Straits Times dated 9 March 2009, carried a report written by Yen Feng about men in Singapore who abandoned their imported wife.

When the economy was booming, these middle aged men who were mostly blue collared workers, paid a few thousands dollars to import their wives from overseas. Since they did not make a lot of money, they were unable to attract local women to build a family together. They were fulfilling their dreams of starting a family by importing a foreign wife.

Now that those men are retrenched by their bosses, they in turn retrenched their wives with an one-way ticket home. Some wives were retrenched with their children, some wives were retrenched with unborn baby.

Money is used to buy love, or more accurately, buy a wife who supposed to love "till death do us part."

But when the source of money dries up, retrenchment of wife and children take place en mass. No money, no love. Not even love for their own flesh and blood.

Love needs money to support. No money no love.

Rich in Imaginations

Today is Sunday, the day I love most in a week. Sunday is the day that time slows down. Sunday is the day that I can afford to live in my imaginations.

I am now living in the past, living in the Tang dynasty, the time that the history books term it as the golden age of China history. Accordingly to the history books, people back then lived happily, peacefully, enjoyed singing songs and dancing, and generally the economy prospered.

The air is fresh, the food tastes good, the people are nice, the world is full of sights and smells of nature.

Do I like living in the past? No, not at all.

I can't just go to the McDonald's for a quick breakfast. I can't just turn on the tap to wash my face. Imagine going all the way to the river just to wash face and shower. I don't even have toothbrush and toothpaste to clean my teeth.

Worse still, there are no washrooms facilities. Can't afford to have a toothache either, in those days, they probably just pull the bad tooth out. Just thinking about that makes me shivering with fear.

Better pull out from the Tang Dynasty! I can't take it anymore!

My Blog - A Home For My Heart

This is my blog. This is the home for my heart. This is the place where my heart scatters all emotions out. Much like I scatters the newspaper all over the floor in my house.

This is the home for my heart. A place where my heart tries to use words to describe feelings.

This is the place where the desires in my heart get to play. My heart tells me I want to live till 200 years old. My heart tells me I want to live a rich and fulfilling life. My heart tells me I want to live a life rich in every sense.

Ladies, Conduct a Performance Review of Your Boyfriend

My friend told me yesterday that she broke off with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend launched an out-all sms campaign to change her mind.

Well, I suggested a meeting to resolve the issue. I will act as her consultant and give a "performance review" of her boyfriend's past performance. In accordance with standard HR practice, I will suggest the following:
1. "immediate termination" for bad performance
2. "extended probationary period" if he has the potential to improve
3. "confirmation" as her boyfriend, if he is really good

So now I'm very busy, got to write up a 50 pages performance appraisal form to help my friend. Once I have completed the form, I will sell it in E-book format. The E-book will sell like hotcakes and I will be RICH.

Should I name it as "Performance Appraisal of Boyfriend" or "Ladies, Conduct a Performance Review of Your Boyfriend."

Any better idea?

Rich in Tears and Laughter

Once upon a time, all of us were rich in tears and laughter. We flooded the house with tears when we were hungry. We roared with laughter when we were playing. Our days were filled with sleep, tears and laughter.

How happy we all were! It seems so long ago and all of us have forgotten why we cried and laughed so much.

Now we are no longer rich in tears and laughter, we are rich in worries and problems. We no longer flood the house with tears when we are hungry. We no longer cry for mummy when we fall down. We no longer laugh so many times a day when we are so rich in worries and problems.

How I wish God can give us permission to be a baby just for a day. I do like to have a day rich in tears and laugher instead of worries and problems.

Thoughts on Berkshire Hathaway Annual Report 2008

This is the first year that I make the effort to read Berkshire Hathaway Annual Report.

Halfway through the reading, questions pop into my mind "Warren Buffet is known as one of the most successful investors. But he is an investor of what? Of business, of talent or equity?"

Mr Buffet wrote of his joy in discovering talent like Ajit Jain and his apparent eagerness to find another Ajit Jain. It really makes me wonder, is Warren Buffet a great investor of talents?

It reminds me of a story about a man living in the Warring States period (from 476 BCE to 221 BCE) in ancient China.

This man asked his father "As a farmer, what is the rate of return for my labour?" The father told him "10 times your investment". He asked again "As a merchant, what is the rate of return for my effort?" His father said "100 times your investment." His last question to his father "What is the rate of return for investing in the future king?" His father said "incalculable"

This man is Lv Buwei. He invested in the father of Emperor Qin Shi Huang and became the prime minister.

I believe great investors first invest in themselves, followed by investing in talents and business. Of course, luck counts too!

Many people are quick to point out that even Warren Buffet lost billions for Berkshire Hathaway in 2008. Well, at least he got billions to lose, and he still has a lot of cash left.

How I wish I am rich enough to afford losing a billion dollars. I guess those folks should wait till they have that much money to lose before they started to publicise for Mr Buffet.

Now let me see, if I lose even a million bucks for my company, what will happen? I guess that is the time to apply for a position in Berkshire Hathaway.

Money, Money, Money

Money, Money, Money! We think of money and more ways to make money when the economy is booming. We worry about money and all the problems that lack of money can cause in a recession.

The wise King Solomon's said in Ecclesiastes 10:19 "A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things."

Money is the answer to everything. Even love can be expressed through money. Think about it, why do we work? Because we want money, not for money sake, but for survival sake. For most of us, working is the only way we know that can make money for us.

How do we show our love to our dear ones? By using money to buy food to feed them, buy garments to cloth them, buy house to shelter them from rain and shine, pay the bills so that they can enjoy living.

"I love you" is three very powerful but empty words without the support of money in the background.

Love not the money, but love all the good things that money can do for our loved ones!

Money, money, money! So nice to earn it, to own it and to use it.
