Combing hair is so much as part of our routine activities that most of us do not give a thought to it. The only time when combing hair becomes so important is when we suffered from hair loss.

It seems that those with limited hairs are the ones who know how to comb hair properly.

Actually the proper method of combing hair to prevent hair loss should be taught from young.

Some people keep a certain hair style throughout their life and the method of combing hair becomes an automatic habit.

Some people, especially the younger generation, adopt new hair styles according to the latest trends and fashion. In this case, combing hair becomes more challenging.

While preventing hair loss is more than just combing hair, since hair loss has to do with nutrition and general health as well.

When I was young, our parents kept telling us that general health has direct relation with the quantity and quality of hair. It is very rare for a healthy young person with no genetic defect to suffer from hair loss. Probably stress and extremely bad health can produce hair loss in young people.

How to prevent hair loss while combing hair

The first tip to prevent hair loss is to use a good comb. There are many different types of combs available in the market. You can choose the best comb by considering the nature of your hair, whether it is hard, soft, long or short, and the hair style.

The second tip to prevent hair loss is to concentrate on the hair combing. Some people have a bad habit of thinking about some other matters while combing hair. As a result, they may comb too hard or too fast and put stress on the hair strands.

The third tip to prevent hair loss is to comb gently. A vigorous combing can increase hair loss.

The fourth tip to prevent hair loss is to avoid combing wet hair. You should not comb when the hair is wet. You can dry it with a towel, before putting some oil and gently massage the wet hair. The combing will be easy.

The fifth tip to prevent hair loss is to avoid combing hair in the wrong direction. You should avoid combing hair in the opposite direction of hairs. This can increase the risk of hair loss.

The sixth tip to prevent hair loss is to avoid vigorous combing in backward direction. This can produce traction baldness.

The seventh tip to prevent hair loss is avoid frequent combing, since frequent combing can damage the scalp and the follicles of the hair. If you have the habit of carrying a pocket comb, and use it frequently, you have to stop the habit. Too frequent hair combing is definitely a factor in escalating hair loss.

The eighth tip to prevent hair loss is to avoid using a comb with sharp too. When the tooth of the comb is too sharp, it could pressed too tightly on the scalp.

The ninth tip to prevent hair loss is to clean the comb regularly. You can make it a habit to clean the comb before and after hair combing, since hair and dirt deposited in the gap will make it hard for you to comb hair. It can be uncomfortable and painful.

The tenth tip to prevent hair loss is avoid using the combs of others. You can avoid getting fungal and bacterial infections in this way. You can avoid getting head lice too, since head lice can spread through comb sharing.

The last tip to prevent hair loss is avoid tangled hair. You know the frustration of running a comb through tangled hair. It is difficult and painful as well. That is why you can use oil on your hair after cleaning, to make your hair free for easy combing.

  2. I did not lose all, my consultant falled in love with me after 2 year plus. It was she who encouraged me to quit. Who said bald man is not attractive? However, eventually our relationship did not work out due to difference in character, she is now operating her own hair salon. I write this comment as a symbol of apprecaition towards her love. Had she not encouraged me to quit, i might end up like the Indonesian business man because i have the money and Yun Nam knows that.

Yes that is correct, however in today's fast food society there is always room for improvement unless you monitor what you eat on a daily basis and who really has time for that. if you compare a cob of corn it has less the 30-40% of the nutritional value then 50 years ago due to genetic altering and fertilizers things are changing so we as a people must adapt ..
