Yin Feng Shui and Yang Feng Shui

The concept of Feng Shui has spread all over the world.

Even though we heard of the term, Feng Shui, everyday, not everyone knows that there is a difference between Yin Feng Shui and Yang Feng Shui.

The one that we are very familiar is the Yang Feng Shui.

Yang Feng Shui is to use the elements from the surrounding to enhance our wealth and health.

For example, water placement in the garden, house or office is an important part of Yang Feng Shui.

That means you must have the fish tank in the right location of the house.

If you put the fish tank in the wrong location, you will experience marital breakup, and extra marital relationship problems.

Putting fish tank in the right location can ensure wealth for a long time.

What about Yin Feng Shui?

In ancient times, the people put more emphasis into Yin Feng Shui.

Yin Feng Shui refers to the location of the burial plot, and the design of the burial plot.

The first thing a new emperor did is to select a good location to build his tomb.

He wanted to ensure that his dynasty lasted a long time.

An error in the measurement or the selection of a burial plot could mean disasters for the descendants.

The masters would look at the surrounding to locate the mountains, and the water source.

It is best to have the support of the mountain, and facing a quiet lake to keep the energy.

The best location for a burial site is windless.  Strong wind dispels the collected Qi (energy).

The best location taps into the energy of the mountain, known as the dragon vein.

Yin Feng Shui is more important than Yang Feng Shui for the ancients.

When a person had spiteful enemy, his enemy would destroy the tomb of his ancestors to destroy the Feng Shui element.

Yang Feng Shui ensures the wellbeing of a person for a lifetime.  Yin Feng Shui ensures the wellbeing of the descendants for generations.

That is why more effort is made into the selection and design of a grave.

The worst possible location is to get a waterlogged site, where the body cannot rot.

The effect on the descendants is disastrous.
